The Indianapolis first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days collecting the National League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs and 14 RBIs last week in 6 games.
Frazier is hitting .320 this year with 12 home runs and 39 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .415, 31 walks and scored 38 times. |  | Thursday, June 28th, 2029: Mendez Homers 3 Times Against Las Vegas Pedro Mendez, right fielder for the Indianapolis Indians, had a whale of a game, rocketing three balls out of Ballpark of Plano against the Las Vegas 51s today in their 7-6 victory.
After the game he said, "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them. The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves... all three were mistakes."
For the game Mendez was 3-5 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
Mendez added, "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives. Today I found the home run stroke."
P. Mendez flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off R. Erazo in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off R. Erazo in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off L. Garcia in the 9th.
