Breaking News Monday, August 6th, 2029: Tuesday, July 31st, 2029: Monday, July 9th, 2029: River Cats Romano Will Miss Season The doctors have spoken and Jorge Romano of the Sacramento River Cats didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old right fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Romano sustained his season-ending injury during the Syracuse Chiefs game yesterday at Spears Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Sacramento medical staff reported Romano had a torn back muscle and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7-8 months.
