 | Monday, June 5th, 2028: Seattle Mariners and Padres Agree to Trade
The Seattle Mariners have parted ways with 29-year old starting pitcher Henry Sillers, sending him to the San Diego Padres for 23-year old minor league shortstop Arthur Alexander. The Mariners general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning.
Sillers has a 5-5 season record so far. In 11 starts, he has fanned 46 batters in 74.1 innings with a 4.96 ERA.

 | Saturday, June 3rd, 2028: James Befuddles Seattle
"I hope we miss him next time," the Seattle manager said. "James certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
The Oakland starter tamed the Seattle Mariners 1-0 with a 6-hit shutout, finishing the game with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in a sharp outing.
"I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," James said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive."
So far this season James has a 5-5 record with a 6.42 ERA.
