Wednesday, July 4th, 2029: Pacheco Torches Mets for 5 Hits
It was a good day all around. Altoona whipped Binghamton 12-5 and Juan Pacheco displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day at Carey Grounds.

"Some days, lady luck is on your side," he modestly told BNN reporters after the game. His manager told the beat writers otherwise, "His hitting wasn't luck today. It's his solid approach to hitting. Juan is focused, patient and he hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have."

The 22-year-old center fielder for the Curve collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats to get his name in the record book.

J. Pacheco hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off J. Brito in the 8th.

Pacheco is hitting .277 this year with 7 home runs, 44 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has 92 hits in 332 at-bats, 34 walks and a .361 on-base percentage. Pacheco has played in 85 games.

In his season totals Hale has 14 home runs and a .272 batting average.
