| Breaking News | | Monday, June 25th, 2029: NL Player of the Week Named
Carlos Hernández burst onto the National League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Frisco garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy.
The 20-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (15-30) with 4 home runs and 10 RBIs last week.
In 2029 Hernández is batting .304 with 14 home runs.

| Monday, June 4th, 2029: Moore Guns Downs 17 Defenders
The Frisco RoughRiders were victorious over the Connecticut Defenders today 4-1 at Sky Hawks Ballpark after getting an outstanding performance from starting pitcher Sam Moore. The 19-year-old Moore brought his top game to the mound, striking out 17 batters while allowing no hits and 4 walks.
"He made a lot of good pitches out there," the Connecticut manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters by swinging at everything, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."

| Friday, June 1st, 2029: Morris Collects NL Pitching Award
There's something about a young rookie winning the National League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Todd Morris, a 27-year-old starter for the Frisco RoughRiders.
In May, he topped off the month with a 6-0 mark and 2.22 ERA in 7 starts, tossed 56.2 innings, fanned 28 and held opposing teams to a .189 average.
In pitching stats this season Morris has rung up 7 wins and 3 losses in 14 games. He has an ERA of 3.39 and has fanned 47 batters in 98.1 innings.
