Monday, July 2nd, 2029: Clark Gives New Hampshire Goose Eggs
Midland pitcher John Clark blanked the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4-0, tossing a 2-hitter while issuing 1 walk and collecting 7 strikeouts.

After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him."

Checking out his stats for the year, Clark has racked up 10 wins and 3 losses in 17 starts, 3.49 ERA and struck out 93 batters in 126.1 innings.
Tuesday, June 26th, 2029: Baysox Blanked by Clark
A pitcher's main job is to keep the opposition off the scoreboard and Midland pitcher John Clark did just that today in a 4-0 victory over the Bowie Baysox at Ballpark of Stockton. He gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits and had 5 strikeouts.

In 2029 Clark has fashioned a 9-3 mark, 3.76 ERA and pitched 117.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .259 against him and he has logged 86 strikeouts.
Saturday, June 23rd, 2029: Peña Hot, Rock Cats Cold
Speaking after the game, the Midland manager said, "Iván Peña had everything going for him. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement... he had it all... masterful."

Peña held the New Britain Rock Cats to 5 hits and fashioned a fine 3-0 shutout. He had 2 walks and 6 strikeouts in the game.

"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," the New Britain skipper told reporters.

In 8 starts this season Peña has compiled a 1-6 record and a 5.66 ERA.
