Miguel Mendoza shut 'em down and shut 'em out, hurling Trenton past Akron 6-0 in a complete game victory.
He told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview, "This is a game of adjustments and I made some good ones in this game."
Mendoza held the Akron Aeros without a run, tossing a 6-hitter while walking 1 and fanning 2.
This season Mendoza has 7 wins and 5 losses and a 2.72 ERA.

| Saturday, June 23rd, 2029: Clarence Barnes Injured, Out for Season
Clarence Barnes will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and stated the Akron center fielder could miss the remainder of the year. Barnes was injured while running the bases in the Aeros-Diamond Jaxx clash at Pandas Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a dislocated shoulder and would be out a minimum of 11-12 months.
To date this year Barnes is batting .000 with no home runs.

The Portland Sea Dogs shut out the Akron Aeros behind the 3-hit pitching of Shigeru Iida, winning by the score of 11-0 at Ballpark of Portland.
