Monday, June 25th, 2029: Season Over for Stout in West Tenn
Leland Stout has to call it a season. The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Akron Aeros and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Stout was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 8 months.

This year his stats show Stout has 13 saves in 33 relief appearances with a 2-0 record and 1.59 ERA.
Saturday, June 23rd, 2029: Season Ends for Dominic Young of West Tenn
Doctors in West Tenn said Dominic Young may not play anymore this year. The Diamond Jaxx left fielder received a torn bicep muscle during a game against the Akron Aeros and will be out for at least 8 months. Club officials told BNN they did not expect him to return to the team this season.

So far this season Young has hit .244 with 2 home runs, 28 RBIs and and scored 38 times.
Thursday, June 21st, 2029: Holt Records Shutout Against Diamond Jaxx
Dan Holt of the Bowie Baysox shut out the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx 4-0, stopped them on 2 hits and had 13 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.

After the game his manager said, "He just came out and was on the attack from the first pitch he threw. When Dan stays ahead in the count, he does well. That's the key."

In 2029 Holt has compiled a 2-8 mark with a 5.15 ERA.
