| Breaking News |  | Saturday, November 8th, 2031: Machado Involved in Accident
New York (N) catcher Eli Machado has a damaged meniscus, which he suffered throwing batting practice for a Little League game. He's expected to be out for 1-2 weeks.
Machado has a career .273 average with 861 hits, including 165 doubles, 10 triples and 68 homers, collected 360 RBIs, scored 395 runs and compiled a .340 OBP.

Several teams have surfaced as a possible trading partner with New York (N) for Andrew Claunch -- or so rumor has it. Sources inside the Mets organization report that teams have inquired about making a deal for the 34-year-old third baseman.

 | Saturday, September 27th, 2031: An-yan Qin Out for Season
An-yan Qin of the Mets just might have to call it quits for the season. The 24-year-old New York (N) reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Washington Nationals recently at Shea Stadium. Qin suffered a tender elbow while throwing a pitch. The Mets medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 1-2 weeks.
To this point in the season, Qin has rung up 2 saves in 44 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 2.69 ERA, 3 wins and 1 loss and 46 strikeouts in 67 innings.
