Ignacio Coronado of the Lakeland Tigers was in command from start to finish in his 4-0 shutout win over the Aberdeen IronBirds. He struck out 10, walked 2 and allowed 4 hits.
"I felt strong the entire game," Coronado said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working."
To date in 2029, Coronado sports a 9-4 mark with a 2.91 ERA in 17 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .225 batting average and has 112 strikeouts in 120.2 innings. |

It was a razor-sharp performance by John Forcier of the Stockton Ports against the Aberdeen IronBirds. He fashioned a fine 2-hitter in blanking them 11-0 and chalked up 9 strikeouts and no walks.
