| Breaking News | | Saturday, July 28th, 2029: Perfect Game: Weber Dominates Tigers The Lancaster JetHawks celebrated and piled on top of Martin Weber after he recorded the final out of a perfect game against the Lakeland Tigers. Weber kept the Lakeland offense guessing all day long and with some help from a few spectacular plays behind him, etched his name into the record books with the 2-0 shutout. For the game the 25-year-old hurler retired all 27 batters he faced and fanned 5 of them. He walked none and nobody got on base.
"His breaking pitches had more movement than I've ever seen from Martin," the Lancaster catcher said in the postgame interview. "He made my job easy. I just gave him the target and he hit it. Simple as that. I almost didn't have to move my glove, he was so good."
This year Weber has compiled a 12-6 mark with a 3.56 ERA. | | Friday, July 27th, 2029: Martínez Hurls Shutout Today at Cannons Ballpark José Martínez of the Lakeland Tigers permitted 6 hits, walked 0 and fanned 6 during the 8-0 shutout win over the Lancaster JetHawks.
