| Breaking News |  | Monday, July 23rd, 2029: Stars Gordon and Lookouts Unknown Suspended for Fight Baseball officials have notified the Stars and Lookouts organizations that two of their players have been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Huntsville-Chattanooga contest at Huntsville Ballpark. Hunter Gordon of the Stars and Joe Unknown of the Lookouts will have to sit out 9 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl.
Gordon is currently batting .232 with 6 home runs and 41 RBIs.
|  | Monday, July 9th, 2029: NL's Top Player Named It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the National League, but last week Bill Anderson of the Huntsville Stars reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week.
Anderson rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (12-28), 5 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award.
This year Anderson is hitting .282, produced 47 RBIs and 14 home runs, scored 39 times and gotten on base at a .371 rate. |  | Monday, July 2nd, 2029: NL's Best Player, Hayashi of Huntsville 22-year-old Matsusuke Hayashi sent shock waves through HBL Double A last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the National League Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Hayashi made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .455 average, 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs and 11 runs batted in.
Where the Huntsville Stars catcher goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Hayashi certainly made his mark last week.
