Abraham John of the Brevard County Manatees whitewashed the Modesto Nuts 1-0 in a complete-game win, limiting them to 5 hits while chalking up 5 strikeouts and giving up no walks.
Talking to BNN writers after the game, his manager said, "He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys. Abraham is pretty poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff."
This year John has compiled a 4-5 mark with a 3.42 ERA in 11 starts.
