That what happened at yesterday's Las Vegas Kings and Toronto Blue Jays game at Mandalay Bay Park. What started off as a war of words ended up a tag team match as both clubs rushed on the field to defend their honor. When the umpires sorted it all out, they ejected Las Vegas's Jim Wilson and Toronto's Kip Forester from the game for their roles in starting the melee.
Today the players were notified by the league office that they had been suspended 3 games for violating league rules.

"I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said Cervantes. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked. I felt strong the whole game, even in the last two innings."
Cervantes walked 2 and struck out 9 in the 7-0 victory.
This season Cervantes has a 9-14 record with a 5.72 ERA. | | Monday, September 29th, 2031: Players Suspended in Kings-Blue Jays Donnybrook Justin Morgan of the Las Vegas Kings and Francisco Carballo of the Toronto Blue Jays will be on the sidelines for a few days.
