Saturday, June 24th, 2028: Angels Jones Tosses Masterpiece
Lindy Jones of Anaheim easily handled the Minnesota Twins, stopping them on 3 hits and chucking a complete game 7-0 shutout.

"He really did a job on us," said the Minnesota manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us."

Jones said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big."

He finished the game with 5 strikeouts and no walks in a solid outing.

On his stats sheet this season Jones shows a 10-3 record, 16 starts, 121 innings, 75 strikeouts and a 2.90 ERA.
Monday, June 19th, 2028: AL Star of the Week Named
This week's outstanding performer in the American League was first baseman Louis Linsey of the Anaheim Angels.

He racked up a .462 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Linsey plastered 12 hits in 26 at-bats and 4 home runs, drove in 12 runs and scored 6 times.

In the 2028 season Linsey has hit .253 with 19 home runs, 57 RBIs and scored 43 runs.
Monday, June 5th, 2028: Sotan of Anaheim Crowned Best Player
This week's top performer in the American League was right fielder Suzusaburou Sotan of the Anaheim Angels.

He lashed out a .542 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Sotan tagged 13 hits in 24 at-bats and 2 home runs, drove in 8 runs and scored 4 times.
