Mark Bowden of the Seattle Mariners put the clamps on the opposition and held the Anaheim Angels scoreless in a 6-hit whitewash.

"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said the Anaheim skipper after the 11-0 loss.

Bowden was on target most of the game and finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks.

This year Bowden has a 19-6 record with a 3.48 ERA in 34 starts.
