| Breaking News |  | Saturday, June 24th, 2028: Angels Jones Tosses Masterpiece Lindy Jones of Anaheim easily handled the Minnesota Twins, stopping them on 3 hits and chucking a complete game 7-0 shutout.
"He really did a job on us," said the Minnesota manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us."
Jones said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big."
He finished the game with 5 strikeouts and no walks in a solid outing.
On his stats sheet this season Jones shows a 10-3 record, 16 starts, 121 innings, 75 strikeouts and a 2.90 ERA. |  | Monday, June 19th, 2028: AL Star of the Week Named This week's outstanding performer in the American League was first baseman Louis Linsey of the Anaheim Angels.
